Camping description
CAMPING IN CHEILE TURZII
Camping with the tent or caravan is allowed in the gorges in the entrance to Cheile Turzii, near the Cheile Tuzii Lodge or at exit Chei, to the village of Petrestii de Jos.
We can find here a pleasant ambiance by the large influx of tourists who come to the quays at the end of the week, the possibility of camping in the closed perimeter.

The only permanent spring at the keypath is the Sipotul Cheilor located on their median side. It has a variable flow rate, very low in dry periods, and water is difficult to collect due to its leakage to the rock surface. The water supply can be made to upstream guest houses.
The nearest source of supply is located in Cheia Village about 2km. near the Aries River Bridge where you can find food, bread, water, juices, beverages, sausages, and others. In the same store you will find personalized products Cheile Turzii, see section To be bought.
In Petrestii de Jos, Mihai Viteazu village or Cornesti village there are some small shops where you can buy food. You can also buy fresh and quality agricultural products from the locals of Cheia village.
